30 Nov Byrne inducted to Senior Citizens Hall of Fame
“Integrace Fairhaven resident Ann Byrne has been inducted into the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. Byrne was one of 44 inductees from across the state honored at the annual awards luncheon on Oct. 25 at Michaels Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie. Incorporated in 1987, the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame recognizes and honors the volunteer civic and humanitarian accomplishments of Maryland senior citizens age 65 years and older.
“Byrne was chosen for the Hall of Fame for her extensive volunteer work both at Fairhaven and in the greater community. Her efforts at Fairhaven include serving water in the community’s health center, helping to coordinate the weekly bingo program, and working in the library in various capacities.”
